什么是Casper和MTeST

报名蒙纳士教育学本科及教学硕士(幼教教学硕士除外)的学生，除了已有的Casper考试外，现还可选择蒙纳士大学教育学院最近推出的新测试MTeST，以测评是否适合从事教师行业。

MTeST共15分钟，由考生单独在线上完成一系列简答题。同学们每次报考周期内可以有3次考试机会，且完全免费。Casper每周期则只有1次机会。

根据澳大利亚教学与校务指导协会(AITSL，Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership)的要求，申请进入教师教育专业的学生需要展现出适合成为老师的素质。

许多大学采用Casper测试，这是一种在线开放性情境判断测试(SJT)。该测试会询问学生在面临困境时的应对方式，更为重要的是询问他们为什么会这样做。

这有助于确定那些追求以人为中心职业的申请者的行为倾向。

而蒙纳士新出的MTeST，旨在为同学们提供更多的选择和灵活性。

若学生在同一报考周期既完成了Casper，也考了MTeST，蒙纳士则取两项测评中最好的成绩。

MTeST成绩由蒙纳士大学内部使用，因此只能作为报考蒙纳士的入学测试，不与其他院校共享。以下为MTeST与Casper考试对比：

什么课程需要考Casper或MTeST

报名蒙纳士大学的教育学本科（荣誉学位）或教学硕士的学生需要做MTeST或Casper。具体课程名称如下：

请注意：报名教学硕士幼教专业(Master of Teaching in Early Childhood Education)的学生无需完成MTeST或Casper。

若学生在单次报名周期内既完成了Casper，也做了MTeST，蒙纳士则取其中最优成绩。MTeST不提供样题，但每人在同一报考周期中有三次做题机会。
